Hyderabad Hyderabad-based Sagebrook Academy & Suchitra Academy has announced partnership with UK’s Whitgift School, a prestigious school from the UK established in 1596. With this collaboration, the academy is setting up a new school at Kollur in Hyderabad. The day-school campus is expected to open its admissions by the academic year 2025.

The new school will deliver the International Baccalaureate curriculum to students from India and around the world. It will offer a comprehensive range of academic subjects within this framework, with Whitgift providing quality assurance, curriculum advisory, assistance with school systems and processes, and guidance on extracurricular activities.

The school will focus on fostering global citizenship and cultural diversity. Praveen Raju, Founder Director of Sagebrook Academy & Suchitra Academy, said: “We are committed to providing a world-class education through this affiliation. We are confident that our partnership with Whitgift is one that will deliver exactly that.”

Chris Ramsey, Headmaster of Whitgift School, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and the establishment of their first co-branded international school in India. He emphasised the strong demand for high-quality education in India and the potential for mutual benefits between students in the UK and India.

New Delhi-based private equity and venture capital firm Novistra facilitated this partnership.
